Agri-logistics and commodity trading

Connecting farmers and commodity buyers.

We work with farmers, aggregators and buyers to source and move agricultural commodities.

Our work includes coordinating produce collection, aggregation, storage and transport.

We focus on building reliable trading relationships and helping buyers access produce from our network.

What we trade

Shea nuts. Our main commodity. We buy from women pickers in farming communities across Northern Ghana, including Tolon district, and supply buyers in Ghana and Europe.

Other farm produce. We also collect, store and move other produce for buyers and partners. Tell us the commodity, volume and delivery point, and we will tell you what we can source.

Quality

The buyer sets the quality standard and checks every lot before paying. We weigh and record each sale when we collect it, and pickers are paid at collection.

Case study

500 tonnes of shea a season for European cosmetics buyers

European cosmetics buyers, including Antwerp-based Bambata Trading, source their Northern Ghana shea through YomYom. We collect from our network of women pickers, the buyer checks quality against its own standard, and the lots go by truck to the buyer.

“Registering with YomYom was free. They connect me with buyers, and I earn much more than when I sold to middlemen, who took most of the money.”
Mma Sanatu sells her shea through YomYom. We weigh and record each sale when we collect, and pay her on the spot.
