YomYom Services Limited (“YomYom”, “we”, “us”) runs agri-logistics, haulage, storage and traceability services in Ghana, including the YomTrace platform. We take the privacy of our customers, farmers, partners, drivers and website visitors seriously.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers this website (yomyomlogistics.com), YomTrace and our other services. We handle personal data in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

1. Information we collect

• Personal information: your name, phone number, email address, organisation and any other details you give us when you contact us, book a service, apply for a job or create a YomTrace account.
• Transaction and delivery data: waybill numbers, pickup and delivery locations, commodity details, weights and order history.
• Traceability data (YomTrace): farmer and community names, collection hubs, lot records, handling and delivery records.
• Device and usage information: device type, IP address, browser, operating system and how you use our platforms.
• Location information: with your consent, location data used to provide pickup, tracking and routing services.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see section 7 below.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and improve our services: run haulage, storage and traceability, and make YomTrace work smoothly.
• To communicate with you: respond to enquiries, share delivery updates and send relevant service information.
• To personalise your experience: show content based on your needs and how you use our services.
• For analytics: understand how our services are used so we can improve them.
• For security and fraud prevention: detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised access.
• To meet legal obligations: keep the records the law requires.

3. Contacting us through WhatsApp

Many buttons on this website open WhatsApp with a message already written, such as a tracking request or an enquiry. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. Messages you send us are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, and by YomYom under this policy.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it only with:

• Service providers and partners who help us deliver our services, such as drivers, hubs and technology providers, under confidentiality obligations.
• Buyers and partners you trade with through YomTrace, limited to the traceability records needed for that trade.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety and property.
• A buyer or successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of YomYom or YomTrace.

5. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires.

6. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or alteration. No system is completely secure, so please contact us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

7. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one small setting in your browser, your language choice (English or French), so the site remembers it. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. YomTrace and our apps may use cookies to keep you signed in and to improve the service.

8. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
• stop sending you marketing messages at any time.

YomTrace users can also update their details through their account settings.

9. Children

Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and tell registered users about significant changes through our platform or by email.
